
Last week offered a small amount of vindication to BadBusiness
watchers: former Enron CEO's Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling were convicted of a total of 29 counts of conspiracy and fraud. Now I can assure you I didn't lose any sleep over worrying that 64 year old Lay (looking at 20-30) or 52 year old Skilling (25 years or so) could end up spending the rest of their lives in prison (pending the outcome of appeals, of course). What did keep me up was thinking about the path of destruction left in their wake. When it comes to disaster, these guys give Katrina a run for her money...
