This could be a real win for the Internet - which is too often the playground of crooks and scammers. Every time the internet is policed, every time some thief is caught, every time some victim receives restitution, the whole internet becomes a better and safer place to do business, network or socialize.
For so many, the Internet is their place of business (as it is for victims of outfits like www.justtwogirls.com), for others, it's a place to network, shop, learn, socialize, meet people and connect. But there are days when the Internet feels more like some sleazy, back alley than an information super highway.
Thank heaven for Attorneys General who listen and act.
